Agency branding

Last updated: Oct 07, 2026

ESENPT

The name and logo your clients see instead of ours, and the details of the emails they receive.

What it is

Branding is where you set the brand of your agency: the name, the logo and a few details of the emails sent to your clients. It is in the account menu: Account → Branding.

The account Owner can always change it. Other roles can, if their role includes managing the account.

What it is for

  • Your clients see your agency's name and logo. The portal, the emails and the reports they receive carry them.
  • Set it once. The brand belongs to the account and is used for all your workspaces and all your clients.
  • Replies come to you. You choose the sender name of the emails and the address where your client's reply arrives.

How it works

  • The name and the logo go everywhere your client looks. They appear in the header of the client portal, in the emails your client contacts receive (the welcome, the portal access code, the monthly report and the notices about their domains), at the top of the PDF reports and on the public page of a report you share.
  • If you leave the name empty, the company name of your account is used.
  • The logo is optional. Without a logo, your name is shown as text.
  • There are two ways to set the logo. You upload an image from your computer, or you paste the address of an image you already host. Only one is in use at a time.
  • An uploaded image must be PNG, JPG, WEBP or SVG and weigh at most 200 KB. An SVG that contains scripts is rejected.
  • A pasted address must start with https. Email programs block images served over plain http.
  • You choose how the uploaded logo looks. Its height, from 16 to 80 pixels, and how rounded its corners are, from square to circle.
  • The rest of the brand is applied in two places. In the portal: the portal name and the welcome message are on the sign-in card, the brand color is on its button, and the footer text and the contact email are at the foot of every page. In the welcome email a client contact receives when you add them to a workspace: the brand color, the sender name, the reply address, the welcome message and the footer text. The other emails to the contact carry only your name and your logo.
  • Changes apply from the moment you save. Emails already sent and PDF reports already generated do not change.

What you see on screen

The screen has three blocks and, at the bottom, two buttons.

  • Configuration. The field Name your clients will see, up to 80 characters, and the logo. For the logo you pick one of two options: Upload from my computer or Paste public URL. The first one shows the button Choose image; once a logo is uploaded, that button becomes Replace image and Remove uploaded logo appears next to it. The second one shows the field Logo URL (HTTPS).
  • Extended branding. Optional fields: Portal name, Brand color (you type it or pick it from the color box next to it), Email sender name, Reply-to / support email, Contact email (portal), Welcome message (up to 500 characters) and Footer text (up to 280 characters).
  • Know whether your clients open the emails. A switch, at the end of that same block. Off, which is how it comes, the emails to your clients' contacts do not record whether they were opened. On, reports and notices carry an open indicator and each open is added to the contact's access history. It is saved with the rest of the brand. If you turn it off, emails already sent stop recording opens.
  • Email header preview. A banner with your logo and your name, as they go at the top of an email. It is an approximation: each email program draws it slightly differently.
  • Discard changes and Save. Both are greyed out until you change something. Under them, one line states the brand in use right now: the name, and whether it has a logo.

How to…

Set the name your clients see

  1. Open Account → Branding.
  2. In Configuration, type the name in Name your clients will see.
  3. Press Save.

Use a logo you already host

  1. In Configuration, choose Paste public URL.
  2. Paste the address of the image in Logo URL (HTTPS). It must start with https and be reachable by anyone, without a login.
  3. Press Save.

Set the sender, the reply address and the texts of the welcome email

  1. Go to the block Extended branding.
  2. Fill in the fields you want: Email sender name, Reply-to / support email, Brand color, Welcome message and Footer text.
  3. Press Save.

If you leave Email sender name empty, the name of your agency is used. If you leave Reply-to / support email empty, the email goes out without a reply address of yours.

Undo what you have not saved

Press Discard changes. The fields go back to the last saved values. It does not bring back a logo you removed, nor undo a logo you uploaded: those two are saved at once.

If you get stuck

The screen shows an error and the fields are empty

Your role in this account does not include managing the account, so the brand cannot be read or changed. Ask the account Owner to make the change.

The image is rejected because of its format

Only PNG, JPG, WEBP and SVG are accepted. Export the logo in one of those formats and choose it again.

The image is rejected because it is too large

The limit is 200 KB. Export the logo smaller, or with more compression, and choose it again. A logo is shown at 80 pixels high at most, so it does not need a large image.

The SVG is rejected as unsafe

The file contains scripts or code that runs when it loads. Export it again as a plain SVG, without scripts, or use a PNG.

The logo address shows an error under the field

The address must be complete, start with https and be at most 2048 characters long. While the error is there, Save stays greyed out.

You pasted an address and the logo does not appear in the preview

The preview could not load the image. Open the address in a private browser window: if it asks for a login or does not show the image, your clients will not see it either. Host it somewhere public, or upload it with Upload from my computer.

The save button is greyed out

Nothing has changed since the last save, or the logo address has an error. Change a field or correct the address.

Saving shows an error and nothing changes

The brand is saved all at once: if one field is not valid, none is saved. Check that Reply-to / support email and Contact email (portal) are complete email addresses, and that Brand color is a hex color such as #0B5ED7.

The preview stays blue after changing the color

The preview banner is always drawn in blue. It shows your logo and your name, not your brand color.
